1 piano for 4
This is the starting point of this original recital, where roles intertwine, hands multiply, and voices engage in dialogue to create a world that is both playful and poetic.
For this special occasion, two piano-voice duos, finalists of the Nadia and Lili Boulanger Competition, come together: Félix Merle (baritone) and Flore-Élise Capelier (piano), alongside Léontine Maridat-Zimmerlin (mezzo-soprano) and Ayano Kamei (piano).
The four artists share far more than a stage: they are all alumni of the Académie de l’Opéra Comique and the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris (CNSMDP), where they forged strong artistic and personal bonds. Longtime friends, they reunite here to create a program that reflects who they are—rooted in excellence and the joy of sharing.
Throughout this recital, they invite you to step into the world of storytelling: whispered or radiant tales, whimsical characters, and emotions laid bare. A journey where music becomes narrative, and where the four performers play with the conventions of the recital to reinvent its very form.
